we don't even really know who our wedding party is yet, lol!! My sister was supposed to be the MOH and she's pregnant now so won't be able to make it and FI was going to have his brother as his Best Man. But then the other day he said, well any of my friends that come I'd like to have them in the wedding party, so who knows. And I feel bad making people have to buy something because they're already spending so much money to come to our wedding. In answer to your question, I really have no idea!

Yeah, I feel bad too! I have no idea how much a tux rents form though, so maybe its only a little more to buy the suit? Thats what Im hoping. I would really like them to match...

Edyta. Thanks for that link. I'm going to look into those.

yes thank you for the link Edyta! Steve it thinking of buying a suit, but I'm going to look into rentals as well, because he says he'll wear it again, but realistically, I'm not sure if he will, so we'll have to see what the price difference will be. I was thinking that maybe who ever he has in the wedding party could just wear khaki pants and white shirts, that's pretty basic and they would probably have that at home, or could at least wear it again if they bought it. So steve would be the only one with the jacket. And then the girls I would probably just ask them to wear a certain color but they could get any dress they wanted. I don't know, so much to decide!!

Jilly, is your FI looking to rent a light colored suit (like edyta posted)? I have no clue where we can rent this type of suit. I dont mind spending money on my FI's attire, but I can't bring myself to ask our GM to do the same. We are having a church ceremony and would like them to where the full suit. Do you mind posting any rental places you've come accross?

Thanks

I am looking to the light color suit for Scott and his son who will be 11 at our wedding. Not sure I will be able to get him to wear a tie but that is the goal. The problem is that it is going to be really hot in Cabo in July. I was wondering if having them wear a short sleve shirt would be strange under a suit...do guys do that. I am sure once the ceremony and pictures are over the jackets and ties will be history. Let me know what you have seen in reguards to short sleve shirts - it kinda sound strange but maybe that is just me.

Amy, I came across a website in a magazine and it was a line of lines suits that you could rent through different tux places and I can't remember that website, but this is what I found
Mens Suits

I like the ivory linen suit, but FI doesn't, he wants something a little darker. I don't think I'm going to have him wear a tie, just a white shirt.

I don't know where this place is located, but maybe if you contact them they would be able to help you find a vendor close to where you are.

The other thing I was going to do is contact the local tux shops and find out if they have any linen suits that they rent, I figured its worth a shot.

Good Luck!

Thanks Jilly. I like the tan suit. And have them where a tie with lime green in it. I haven't begun my search but it is a major concern in the back of my mind.

Amy it has been for me as well! Especially because I'm having such a hard time finding a linen suit anywhere! But I guess in the spring is when they probably come out so I'll have to make sure I start really looking in the next couple of months. If I find anything I'll post.
