I really like the Banana Republic suit that Kate posted. I'll have to have my FI take a look at it. It might be a little bit pricey for us though. My FI is a cop, so only wears a suit to weddings/funerals :). He also wanted to buy suits for his GM, of which there is 7! So that would add up quickly. Maybe we could do the suit for him, and look into other options for the GM...maybe just the pants, and some kind of white shirt without the jacket. What do you think?

7 is a LOT!! My FI isn't having any GM so we had more $$ to spend on him. It's a really nice suit - he hates suits and he likes it.

I am thinking about ordering some of those pants for myself as well for going out to dinner and such. I would really like to know what you guys think of them before I go ahead and start ordering.

The price was great ($150) but it's going back to the store. When we saw it in person it just doesn't look that nice. No shape to it and some loose threads. This is defintely an inexpensive linen-look suit. Not horrible, but we want something nicer for our wedding day. We found a couple suits at Brooks Brothers which are really nice, but start at $800 and go up to $1700. Hoping Macys or Nordstrom will have something!
Thanks for letting us know….b/c it looks nice in on the website

We found a really nice jacket and pants at Macys but they did not have fiancés size..they had the pants but not the jacket…so we have been on a hunt for that…I even went to Claibourne’s website and e-mailed them b/c that is the suit…I cant find it YET on the net…

My FI bought his suit last week, I will post it once it gets back from alterations...he also tried on the banana republic suit that Kate posted earlier but he and the boys didn't like the cut of it that much so they went all out and splurged on designer suits...i saw him in it and he looked so amazing that it was worth the money...ill post pics next week

Paul just ordered this shirt today. he was such a good little FI and did some research, and came up with this site. he was going to order from the same site that TammyM used - but found a design on this site that he liked better. he also said they have the option of no pockets (which he wanted), and thought it might be a little cheaper.

but here's another option (and the shirt Paul is ordering) ...
