I wanted to make sure my flower was very secure. So I thought of a bunch of options and came up with this.

I bought a flower on a stem at a craft store (~$4) and a clip. I already had the craft wire.

I cut the flower off it's stem leaving a little piece behind.

I looped the wire under the leaves. I looped the free end around the wire many times to hold it on (like a lasso).

Then & looped the wire around each section of the clip & circled the stem. The wire is stiff enough that it will not come unwound. If it wasn't I could have looped it many times to secure it.
