Autumn's OOT Bags ~ Check!

Recommended Posts

Wow! We are finally done with our OOT bags. FI and I spent a ton of time debating over them. They were actually his idea because his brother was married at Dreams Cancun a couple of years ago and they had the bags waiting for their guests in their room when they arrived and he thought it was so cool. I CASEd (Copy & Stole Everything) from all of the awesome Desties out there. Iâ€m sorry I donâ€t have individual shout outs, but feel free to jump in if the idea was originally yours! So without further ado, here are the pics and details :o)

Christmas Traditions

Since our wedding is pretty close to Christmas there are a couple of traditions that we mentioned in our Booklet.

December 1-12 is The Festival of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Puerto Vallarta and marks the founding of the city with parades and special events.

December 6 is St. Nicholas Day and growing up we always hung our stockings up the night before and St. Nick would leave us an ornament. For some reason my Omie (grandma who lived next day) always knew exactly what St. Nick left us. She passed away 2 years ago and I thought it would be cool to incorporate this tradition into the wedding. It works out perfect since our wedding is the night of December 5th so we made Starfish ornaments and put them in the OOT bags and also included a mini-history in the Booklet.

I hope this gives all you B2Bs some ideas and feel free to hit me up if you have any questions on my bags!

Thanks :)

I made the labels in powerpoint and then printed them on the 8x11 sticker label sheets. Cut them with the big paper cutter and then FI stuck them on.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
